• Drug Prevention Awareness

    Don’t be afraid to say “No!” Don’t feel pressured to try something just because someone says you should.

    Tobacco, Alcohol and drugs are dangerous for brains and bodies that are still growing.

    Stay busy doing things that you love with your family and friends.

  • Internet Safety

    Check in with a parent before downloading or installing a game or app on your devices.

    Don’t give out personal info such as full name, address, phone # or school name without parent permission.

    If you come across anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult right away.

  • Pedestrian & Bike Safety

    It’s best to walk/ride on sidewalks or paths and cross at street corners with traffic signals and crosswalks.

    Look both ways before crossing the street. If there’s a car slowing down, make eye contact with the driver before crossing.

    Always wear a helmet when you are riding a bike or scooter.

  • Mental Health Awareness

    When you’re feeling angry, anxious, nervous, sad or overwhelmed, close your eyes and take some deep breaths.

    Talk to a trusted adult when you’re not feeling okay.

    Take a break from technology and get active.

  • Anti-Bullying

    Be kind to everyone! Stop and think before you say or do something that may not be nice.

    Stand up for kids being bullied. Sit with them at lunch or on the bus or just talk to them at school. Show them that you care.

    If bullying is happening to you or someone you know, tell an adult immediately.
